Speaking with confidence (open to all students)
Are you nervous about public speaking? Do you struggle with finding your voice or connecting with your audience? This workshop is designed to help you overcome your fears and build confidence in your communication skills. .
Through a combination of relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, vocal training, body language practice, and effective reading techniques, you'll learn how to:
- Relax and manage your nerves
- Project your voice with clarity and authority
- Use your body language to enhance your message
- Engage your audience and connect on a deeper level
- Deliver presentations with confidence and ease
Whether you're a seasoned speaker or just starting out, this workshop will provide you with the tools and techniques you need to become a more effective and confident communicator.
Our facilitator
This workshop is presented by Seán Moore:
Seán Moore has an almost lifelong interest in the voice. He is a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in Speech & Drama and has an MA in Modern Drama. He taught for 17 years in secondary school and for three in Wormwood Scrubs Prison Education Department. In 2011 he was on the judging panel of the Olivier Awards for West End Theatre for over a year
